If you’ve already taken the PTE exam 2 or 3 times and your score isn’t improving, booking another exam probably isn’t the answer.
Before you spend another AUD $490 on a test, ask yourself:
❓Am I making the same mistakes every time?
❓Do I actually know why I lost marks?
❓Am I practicing the right tasks?
❓Is my study plan working?
Many students think they need to study more.
In reality, they often need to study smarter.
I’ve seen students move from the mid-60s to 79+ simply because they changed the way they prepared. They stopped guessing, started focusing on the highest-scoring tasks, and got feedback on their mistakes.
If your score has been stuck for a while, don’t lose confidence. Sometimes a few changes can make a big difference.
